Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data during the “processing” on the occasion of your visit to our homepage is a very serious concern for us. All information about you, such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, account number, etc., as well as all information that can be traced back to you, is referred to as personal data. This also includes the IP address that is automatically transmitted when you visit a website. This is technically mandatory.

We want you to know when we collect data and how we use it. We have taken technical and organisational measures to ensure that the regulations on data protection are observed both by us and by possible external service providers. In particular, we also take into account the Basic Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) of the European Union (EU) to be implemented from 25.05.2018.

Personal data is only automatically collected on this website to the extent technically necessary. Below you will find information about which data is collected during your visit to the homepage and how it is used.

If you wish to assert your rights (see below), please contact us – the contact details for this can be found in the imprint.

If you have any fundamental questions or concerns regarding data protection, please contact our external data protection officer (DPO) Thomas Schneider in writing at datenschutz@pmp-mail.de. Please include our company name in the subject line so that the external DPO can match this.

Collection and processing of personal data
Website access
When you visit our website, your IP address and other information is automatically transmitted. We as the operator do not log any access to our homepage. The Internet provider (technical provider) automatically collects and stores information in the so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us These are:

Browser type and browser version
operating system used
referrer URL
Host name of the accessing computer
Time of the server request
IP address
Its storage serves the fulfilment of the legal obligation of a provider as well as system-related purposes, essentially for the security of the availability of the website, among other things in accordance with § 100 TKG (disturbance and abuse of telecommunications systems) as well as for the investigation of criminal offences in accordance with the TKG. He is responsible for this.

SSL or TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses an SSL or SSL protocol. TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information requirements according to Art. 13 DSGVO
With the General Data Protection Regulation, we are obliged to provide appropriate information whenever personal data is collected directly from the data subject. Within the framework of our website, we collect personal data from you and would therefore like to inform you accordingly. This survey exists, for example, when we

collect your IP address for the technical provision of the website
use a tracking tool that uses the IP address (we do not use a tracking tool!).
accept your input in a contact module for communication with us (we do not use contact forms!).
Basic procedure:

Insofar as you have provided us with personal data, we will only use this to respond to your enquiries and for the technical provision of the website. Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties or otherwise transmitted if this is necessary for the purpose of contract processing – in particular the passing on of order data to suppliers -, if this is necessary for invoicing purposes, if we are legally obliged to do so, within the framework of order processing by subcontractors or if you have given your prior consent. You have the right to revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.

The deletion of the stored personal data takes place if you revoke your consent to the storage, if their knowledge is no longer necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose pursued with the storage, i.e. the process is completed and no legal deletion periods are opposed to this, or if their storage is inadmissible for other legal reasons. If the data cannot be deleted for technical reasons, we will make it anonymous so that a reference to a person can no longer be established in the future.

All data collection and processing on this website is the responsibility of our company.
Additional detailed information can be found in the following points.

Contact form
If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up enquiries. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. An informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient for this purpose. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Since we assume an indefinite business cooperation, we delete or anonymize this data only upon request (see your right to deletion later), provided that no legal retention periods or deletion periods conflict with this.

By submitting your personal data to us, you consent to the processing of your data in accordance with this privacy policy (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a – Consent). Insofar as your information is required for the fulfilment of a business relationship (“contract”), this is the legal basis for the processing (Art. 6 para. 1 lit b).

Use of social plugins

Facebook
Our website uses so-called social plugins (“plugins”) of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). An overview of the Facebook plugins and their appearance can be found here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins

In order to increase the protection of your data when visiting our website, the plugins are integrated into the page by means of a so-called “2-click” or “Shariff” solution. This integration ensures that when a page of our website containing such plugins is called up, no connection is yet established with the Facebook servers. Only when you activate the plugins and thus give your consent to the data transfer, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the respective plugin is transmitted directly to your browser and integrated into the page. The plugin then transmits data (including your IP address) to Facebook. We have no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of the plugins. As far as we know, Facebook receives information about which of our web pages you have visited currently and previously. By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website even if you do not have a profile on Facebook or are not currently logged in. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “Like” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information will also be published on Facebook and shown to your contacts there.

For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to Facebook’s privacy policy at http://www.facebook.com/policy.php.

If you are a member of the Facebook social network and wish to limit the collection of data about our websites and the aggregation of your user data with data stored about you by the Facebook social network, you should log out of Facebook before visiting our website. You can also completely prevent the loading of Facebook plugins for the future with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker “NoScript”(http://noscript.net/).

Only when you activate the plugins and thus give your consent to the data transmission, your browser establishes a direct connection to the servers of Google. The content of the respective plugin is transmitted directly to your browser and integrated into the page. The plugin then transmits data (including your IP address) to Google. We have no influence on the scope of the data that Google collects with the help of the plugins. As far as we are aware, Google receives information about which of our websites you have visited currently and previously. By integrating the plugins, Google also receives the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website if you do not have a profile on Google+ or are not currently logged in. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the “+1” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Google server and stored there. The information will also be published on Google+ and shown to your contacts there.

In order to increase the protection of your data when visiting our website, the plugins are integrated into the page by means of a so-called “2-click” or “Shariff” solution. WhatsApp messenger
Our website uses so-called social plugins (“plugins”) of the messenger service WhatsApp, which is operated by WhatsApp Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA.

Messenger services like WhatsApp, much like emails, are for direct, private communication and not for distribution to many like Twitter or Facebook. The WhatsApp sharing button is used to make selected WhatsApp users from the private contact list aware of articles worth reading, important news, videos or other interesting content. Unlike Facebook and Twitter, for example, messages are not shared on public timelines but forwarded directly to personal contacts. This feature thus enables easier distribution of social media content in private networks.

The WhatsApp sharing button merely shares a hyperlink, so that no data is retrieved from WhatsApp by calling up the website with the sharing button. Only when the user clicks on the button does WhatsApp learn the origin of the website. However, since no personal data is used, this is merely referrer information that is generated each time a link is called up (OVG Schleswig (Az.: 4 LB 20/13)

For the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by WhatsApp, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, please refer to WhatsApp’s privacy policy at:
https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/?l=de#terms-of-service

You can also completely prevent the loading of WhatsApp plugins with add-ons for your browser, e.g. with the script blocker “NoScript”(http://noscript.net/).

Unreasonable harassment
It is possible that the sharing of messages using the WhatsApp sharing button could constitute a violation of § 7 para. 2 No. 3 UWG. This would require sending electronic mail to individual recipients without their prior explicit consent. Under § 7 para. 2 No. 3 BDSG means any text, voice, sound or image message sent via a public communications network which can be stored in the network or in the recipient’s terminal device until it is retrieved by the recipient. Sending such a message would therefore be unlawful as unreasonable harassment.

Use of videos (e.g. Youtube, Vimeo)

This website uses the Youtube embedding function to display and play videos from the provider “Youtube”. Here, the extended data protection mode is used, which, according to the provider, only triggers the storage of user information when the video(s) is/are played. If the playback of embedded Youtube videos is started, the provider “Youtube” uses cookies to collect information about user behaviour. According to information from “Youtube”, these are used, among other things, to collect video statistics, to improve the user experience and to prevent abusive behaviour. Independently of a playback of the embedded videos, a connection to the Google network “DoubleClick” is established each time this website is called up, which may trigger further data processing operations without our influence.
Further information on data protection at “YouTube” can be found in the provider’s data protection declaration at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

Use of Google AdWords conversion tracking
This website uses the online advertising program “Google AdWords” and within the framework of Google AdWords the conversion tracking. The conversion tracking cookie is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user has clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Clients learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie via your internet browser under user settings. They will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

You can find more information about Google’s privacy policy at the following web address: http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

Web analytics service
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
In the event that IP anonymisation is activated on this website, however, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google, as well as the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
As an alternative to the browser plugin or within browsers on mobile devices, please click on the following link to set an opt-out cookie that will prevent the collection by Google Analytics within this website in the future (this opt-out cookie only works in this browser and only for this domain, if you delete your cookies in this browser, you must click this link again): Google Analytics deactivate.

It should be noted that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()” and therefore IP addresses are only processed in abbreviated form in order to exclude direct personal references.

Google Maps
This website uses the Google Maps product from Google Inc. By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of automatically collected data by Google Inc, its agents and third parties.
The terms of use of Google Maps can be found at: https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.

Cookies
The Internet pages use so-called cookies in several places. These are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser. They can have various different functions: Cookies enable the user to use the internet more comfortably. By setting these, the Internet receives a kind of memory – the website remembers, for example, that a user has already called it up before and makes a renewed login unnecessary for an encrypted page. Cookies also make it possible to determine complex usage and surfing behaviour. You can store information on usage behaviour and transmit it to the user. In this way, the use of cookies enables profiling, which must be viewed critically in terms of data protection law.

Cookies are mainly used in the field of online marketing when personalised advertising is to be placed. The keyword “targeting” summarizes the activities that are intended to enable the target group-oriented display of advertising on websites. A continuation of this advertising strategy is the so-called retargeting, in which a provider/advertiser marks the customer by means of a tracking cookie when he visits the company’s own homepage and then follows him on his foray through the Internet and regularly displays his own advertising as a banner on third-party sites in order to remind him specifically of his own products.

We do not use cookies for “targeting” on our website.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after the end of your visit. Please refer to any special explanations of a cookie in explicit places of use elsewhere in this privacy statement or from dialogue/banner messages.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Cookies, which are necessary for the execution of the electronic communication process or for the provision of certain functions desired by you, are stored on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO (“processing for the purposes of legitimate interest”). The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies to analyse your surfing behaviour) are stored, these are dealt with separately in this data protection declaration.

Illegal contents were not recognizable at the time of linking. However, a permanent control of the contents of the linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of a violation of the law. If we become aware of any infringements of the law, we will remove such links immediately. Please note the privacy statements of the third parties to whose site the link is made.
